Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome line I loaded my vintage 209 penn with the 20# Advantage line. Offshore in Oceanside ,CA. New Years day, fishing with sardines and out fished my bother this time, sand bass and sculpin were hitting this line like crazy, put my 950ssm away and slayed them with lil red. Knot strenght was awesome. This line is invisible in salt walt water. Birds were diving at my bait 20 to 30 feet below surface. All you see is that sardine going to the bottom. Filling all reels with Cajun Line from now on. That red line kicks. January 5, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst line ever I bought this stuff and put it on a Bill Dance Quantum spinning reel and I took It outside and flipped the switch back and it bird nested. I ripped it off the reel and threw it all away. I woudn't reomend buying it. November 19, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good inexpensive line I bought a reel that was spooled with this line. It's easy to see out of the water and it disapppears in the water. (at least I can't see it. I don't have fish vision.) low memory and very good at holding knots. It does not seem to cast great, but that could be my new reel. I haven't tried another line on it yet. I'm in no hurry to take this stuff off. For the money, You can't go wrong. May 11, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Line ! I've tried every brand and I always come back to Cajun , it just seems to do the best in my spincast and spinning reels April 11, 2011

I have the 12 and it is good. I also have the 7# and it is the most fragile line I have ever used. Breaks on contact with anything.

I use this line on baitcaster. Normally 12 lbs. or more . I use it when I want to crank slightly shallower than the crankbait"s depth. Also when running spinnerbaits on surface.

Depends on the line weight. The heavier you go the more this line tends hold memory of the spool. I prefer to use the Cajun Braid for my mainline and only use Mono for leakers

yes this line is a great line on a baitcaster no so mutch for a spinning reel becouse it makes loopes every once in a while but good line but dont fill the spool all the way up leave about an 1/8 of an inch space frome the top of your spool to your line if u want to be sure but i have no problem fillin mi spool full but not over the spool but over all it is a good line on a boitcaster if its low profile tho dont go over 30lbs

We have used the various Cajun lines on baitcasters, spinning reels, and spin casting reels...and am pleased with it on all of these types of reels.... It may not preform quite as well as the "super premium, super expensive" line, but it isn't far off, and for the money, you'd be hard pressed to find a line that beats it... We fish pretty much year round for everything from trout with ultra lites and 6 pound test, to heavy catfish rigs with 50 pound test. And we go thru ALOT of line. Even more now that we are retired.... The Cajun lines won't break the bank like the more expensive lines, and they preform almost as well.... If you only have a few reels and don't fish or change your line all that much, then go for the "super premium high-dollar stuff"...but if you have several dozen reels that you need to keep up and running, and don't have "deep pockets", then the various Cajun lines are the way to go.

I use it on an Extreme baitcaster and the problem I had was it twisted coming off the reel. I finally adjusted my reel to help the backlashes.

I use it on all my baitcating reels from bass to saltwater size and it's the best line I've found. This is the only line I use for catfishing. It cast great and you can't beat the strength.
