This all-in-one 8.5 gallon Cajun Fryer by R & V Works® features a diamond-plate side table and three nickel-plated, large-capacity baskets with plastic cool touch handles. The versatile, high performance, low maintenance propane fryer's burner design positions the fryer's heat source 6'' above the bottom of the oil reservoir at a 45 degree angle. This design allows food and batter to fall to the bottom of the reservoir and not collect on the burner. The oil at the bottom of the reservoir never gets hot enough to burn or scorch the batter, keeping it clean to reduce oil usage by up to 70% over comparable fryers. Constructed of durable carbon steel with a high temp charcoal finish. 8.5-Gallon Fryer holds three 13-1/4" x 5-5/8" x 5-5/8" baskets. Made in USA.

Cajun Fryer by R & V Works 8.5 Gallon Propane Cooker Deep Fryer
I have and have used a lot of fryers from store brought to homemade. This is by far the best cooker I have ever used, it is well worth the investment for anyone that does a lot on cooking.
I cant tell you how much food can be cooked at a time but I will say if you can have a helper there to get the fish ready. anything I have put in this product has came out perfect.

Great Product, the right height to see into and very easy to maintain the correct cooking heat. Only change I would make is to have the gas valve on the front of the cooker instead of the back.

We have both the 12 gallon and the 8.5 gallon and they are great. A lot of charity fish frys and other events make these a must. A bit noisy and a little hard to clean at the end of a season, but worth the investment.

Couldn't be happier
This is hands down the best fryer I have ever used. No burning of the oil, last piece of fish tastes like the first. I do numerous charity fish fry events every year, serving 500 or more at times, and the Cajun Fryer has worked flawlessly.
I did have some issues with the shipper (big brown truck one) and had some damage to my first unit. Called Robert at R & V works and even though it wasn't his fault there was damage, he took care of it immediately. Their service is absolute top notch. Great company, great product.
