Doubt if there's a better one. I'm a big guy (almost 300lbs) and this tube holds me safely and comfortably. I've had mine for 6 years of heavy summer use and I'm just now thinking of replacing it. I've shopped around and haven't found anything that comes close to the functionality of this tube. Very Highly recomend it. August 4, 2013
Time for a new Caddis I bought my first Caddis II in 2001. After 13 years Im now buying a new one. Im hoping this new last just as long. I will post back if I find out otherwise. April 23, 2013
Wonderful addition to my fishing family! I bought this float tube 2 months ago, and have taken out on the water nearly every day. I love it! And when they say its designed for us big guys, they got it right. I'm 6'3 290 lbs. and i have absolutely no trouble with it. It cuts through the water wonderfully well and is a blast to have. I also have a pontoon boat, an aluminum boat, and a bass boat and this float tube is my favorite of them all! I spin fish and fly fish and it is great for either type of fishing. It even has a drink holder in the stripping apron! Talk about luxury! The pockets are much larger than I expected, which is nice for a guy like me who carries two fly boxes, worms, and another box full of lures etc. Not to mention extra soda (or adult beverages) and my Copenhagen. Theres room for it all, and then some. I would highly recommend this float tube to anyone! September 2, 2009
Didn't work out I purchased this tube for my husband for his birthday. It claimed it was crafted for larger anglers, and appears so by the photos. My husband is 6'3", 190 lbs and he was crammed in the thing. The tube across the midde with the shelf/fish ruler/drink holder was also akward & cumbersome & got in the way of him wanting to maneauver in any sort of direction. The right pontoon kept deflating as well. I couldn't hear a leak, but there must have been one somewhere. That said, if it was just an issue with the pontoon tube, we would have exchanged it. But the whole tube wasn't going to work, so we returned the thing for store credit. September 12, 2012

I have gotten used to the added safety of a center (crotch) strap on my last 3 tubes. All float tubes allow you to slide down in them when you are paddling, and I like the support and safety of that center strap.I am in need of another tube and would like to know if this has that center strap before I order, and the local BPS did not stock this model

A:
There is no strap. it has a wide swing style seat. I have no slippage issues and can easily adjust my seating with no problem. I have never slid down to "paddle" I use dive fins to move about and to hold my position when needed.

Yes, I am 6 2" and 215 before putting on waders but not an issue if smaller. Plenty of room but I think the big floats on bottom are the key for big guys. You sit high in the water which I like

I'm 5'5" and 160 lbs and have no difficulty with falling out. There is some slipping forward and pulling yourself back, but by reading some of these reviews it appears to be a common trend.
