I've owned two of these for 6 years and they are fantastic tubes..The only problem Is getting replacement bladders which you will eventually need. Caddis has had bladders on back order for 1 year and when I did receive them they either leaked or were the wrong bladder

I purchased this tube for my husband for his birthday. It claimed it was crafted for larger anglers, and appears so by the photos. My husband is 6'3", 190 lbs and he was crammed in the thing. The tube across the midde with the shelf/fish ruler/drink holder was also akward & cumbersome & got in the way of him wanting to maneauver in any sort of direction.
The right pontoon kept deflating as well. I couldn't hear a leak, but there must have been one somewhere. That said, if it was just an issue with the pontoon tube, we would have exchanged it. But the whole tube wasn't going to work, so we returned the thing for store credit.

I have been float tubing for several years using my old stand by tube. A friend of mine swore by this Caddis Navigator and talked me into trying it out. I can't even began to tell you how great this float tube is. First off the material they use is tough as nails and will hold up to even my abuse. The best part is how comfortable it is. Once I adjusted the air level a bit to make it softer on my back i felt like I was in a first class airplane seat ! I will be spending a lot more time on the water this summer thanks to my new toy.

I have gotten used to the added safety of a center (crotch) strap on my last 3 tubes. All float tubes allow you to slide down in them when you are paddling, and I like the support and safety of that center strap.I am in need of another tube and would like to know if this has that center strap before I order, and the local BPS did not stock this modelAnswers
A:
There is no strap. it has a wide swing style seat. I have no slippage issues and can easily adjust my seating with no problem. I have never slid down to "paddle" I use dive fins to move about and to hold my position when needed.A:
No strap, but not an issue for me. Probably could add one using carring loop in backA:
No center strap.A:
mine does not, i dont like the center straps, if you roll over it takes longer to get to the surface, i dont think there as safeA:
The Navigator II does not have a crotch strap.Details:
Can a small person use this tube comfortably? 160 lbs. under 6'.Answers
A:
Yes. I have a friend that has one who is 185lbs and 5-8. He loves it...A:
Yes, I am 6 2" and 215 before putting on waders but not an issue if smaller. Plenty of room but I think the big floats on bottom are the key for big guys. You sit high in the water which I likeA:
yes , you will sit a little higher but moving along is very easyA:
I'm 5'5" and 160 lbs and have no difficulty with falling out. There is some slipping forward and pulling yourself back, but by reading some of these reviews it appears to be a common trend.A:
