It is a good beginner tube. As you will quickly find out the seat is not a seat its a sling and you drag your butt in the water. Your feet hang down instead of out.The back makes you lean forward and that is uncomfortable. I frequent the gym and I was sore from this activity, like I've never been sore before. I really attribute this to the position this tube puts you in. It made my hips and joints sore. As you get to the lake you will find out that many people "started out with that tube." Save your money and skip to the Fish Cat 4 or a Cumberland float tube. If you are in the lake for a couple hours or only fish a small small lake or a small portion of a big lake this tube might work. This tube does not cut water well at all. It is also hard to enter the tube as the crossbar is WAYYYY to tight! You need to squirm in and already have your fins on which can be hard and make you go for a swim. You cannot put your fins on when in the tube as the bar once its in place is not going to be taken out. Skip this tube you'll just end up paying double when you buy a new one when you buy another tube that you see all the other tubers using and passing you up with.

by gubahead Doubt if there's a better one.
I'm a big guy (almost 300lbs) and this tube holds me safely and comfortably. I've had mine for 6 years of heavy summer use and I'm just now thinking of replacing it. I've shopped around and haven't found anything that comes close to the functionality of this tube. Very Highly recomend it.

I've owned two of these for 6 years and they are fantastic tubes..The only problem Is getting replacement bladders which you will eventually need. Caddis has had bladders on back order for 1 year and when I did receive them they either leaked or were the wrong bladder
