CVA® ACCURA® V2 Muzzleloader is the improved version of CVA’s popular ACCURA model. Like its predecessor, the ACCURA V2 features a premium, custom-quality Bergara Barrel to ensure a level of accuracy unequaled by any other break-action muzzleloader on the market today.
The Bergara Barrel, fully crafted of the highest-quality 416 grade stainless steel, has quickly become recognized as the most accurate production muzzleloader barrel design in the world. At an optimal 27" in length, it provides just the right combination of balance, maneuverability, and efficient powder-burning capability. And the V2 has even more features to help you enjoy your hunt. It includes CVA’s patent-pending QRBP (Quick-Release Breech Plug), the only breech plug on the market that is easily finger-removable, without tools, even after the gun has been fired numerous times. In addition, the stock and forestock have been upgraded with a Soft Touch coating and rubber grip panels, for superb comfort even in the foulest weather.
The ACCURA V2 is very simple to operate because the breeching lever is built right into the trigger guard, making it one of the easiest-opening break-actions available. And the entire gun can be disassembled for cleaning by removing just one screw. The ergonomically designed stock is fully ambidextrous and available in both standard and thumbhole designs, and is backed by a CrushZone® recoil pad. Includes a Quake CLAW® Contour Sling. Twist: 1 in 28''. Barrel length: 27''. Overall length: 42''. Weight: 7.3 lbs.
Outfits include the gun with a premium Konus 3–10x44 mm Illuminated Ballistic Reticle scope, mounted with genuine, rock-solid DuraSight® integral mounts. The guns are bore-sighted and ready to travel in a custom padded CVA case.
Custom performance without the custom price!
Bergara Barrels are crafted to precise standards and are guaranteed to deliver a higher degree of accuracy than any other barrel on the market. If your Bergara Barrel fails to produce groups superior to those of a competitive production barrel, CVA will replace it free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EZMNY the ACCURA V2 WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!
I updated my muzzleloader last year and after a little research i went with the accura V2.. Let me just say in the last year I have purchased 2 more.. one thumbhole stock, and the new MR. All three will hold a sub-1" group out to 150 yds (probably farther but I have not had the opportunity to try yet). The bergara barrel is no joke!!! I've tried 100grs of white hots and 777 pelets with 245gr powerbelts, 250 hornady sst's both with great results. You do get a few more shots between swabbing with the powerbelts because they do not use sabbots. the V2's are rock solid guns with a wonderful feel. cleanup is a sinch with the QRBP. absolute pleasure to shoot. you will not be dissapointed...

Rated 5 out of 5 by teleroy great gun ! scope ?
Worried at first till realized my accuracy problem was with the scope. Swapped the Konous out with a 3-9 Weaver and after bore sighting took only 4 shoots to cut bulls eye at 100 yds. using 3 50 gr. pellets and 295 gr. power belt hollow points.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Love2Hunt2 Took patience, but a Tack Driver. Great service!
Purchased CVA Accura V2 (without thumb-hole) in Oct 2012 online at Bass-pro. Received in 2 days even with std shipping but unit had very similar hammer and break action problems as reported in review by Camp2dog's. Called Bass-pro support line and they suggested I either ship it back or take to my local Bass-pro store to exchange. Was only 1 week from opening of deer muzzleloading season and store was out of stock. Local Bass-pro store salesman offered to have their in-house expert check it out the next day to see if simple fix so I left my weapon with him to do so. Shop 'gunsmith'(?) said was apparently tooling problem because would require milling to correct. Thinking it was a fluke, I just returned the weapon to the store and got my money back hoping I could get another one within days. Since I really wanted the accuracy of the Accura, I called Bass-pro customer service again to order over the phone so that I could personally express my desire to purchase, but my concerns with just getting another unit with the same problem. Bass-pro did not have any non-thumb hole units available across the company, but they had thumb hole units. Rep offered to send me upgraded thumbhole unit at no extra charge and also reported my quality concerns to have unit checked in-house before shipping. They also waived express shipping charges and I received my replacement the next day.
It was well worth it... Unit works perfectly and is an absolute tack driver. Thumbhole is great feature that I thought would be useless, but is far from the case. Can't beat customer service both over the phone and in the local store. Try getting this service with a major chain store anywhere else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Camp2Dogs Some Issues
Well I purchased my CVA Accura V2 with Konus Scope combo on 2/25/2013 Ship to store. While that didn't go as smoothly as I expected, the gun and scope also seem to have some issues.
First off: Love the thumb hole stock, love the recommended load of 2 White Hots and Hornady 250 SST. Cut every bullet from 50 yds
Now the issues.
1. Scope has two choices reticle clear and in focus or target in focus with no reticle. This 3x10 scope is actually a 3x7 as anything higher is just a total blur. Cannot read the numbers on a target at 50 yds with any power. The eyepiece appears bent down ever so slightly from the tube.... ergonomics? Just doesn't look right.
2. Gun will not allow you to cock the hammer unless it is closed with a lot of force. Closed is not closed in this case. Hammer catches but will cock back, however when the trigger is pulled the hammer gets stuck in a half fire position. Must open action, let down hammer; slam close then works like a dream. My buddies told me take it back as this ain't right?
