Enjoy quality AR-15® performance without breaking the bank with the M4 LE Rifle from CMMG. This no-nonsense MSR combines a standard trigger, .223/5.56 NATO action, and 16" M4 Profile, WASP Treated 4140 Chrome-Moly Steel barrel for reliable shooting performance. CMMG's WASP nitriding treatment inside and outside the barrel improves wear, abrasion, and corrosion resistance without the risk of dimensional build up. This gun combines a T marked upper receiver with M4 feed ramps and forged lower receiver with Mil-Spec components. The M4 LE also features a M4 hand guard, A2 Pistol Grip, Mil-Spec 6-position stock, 30 round PMAG magazine, and a low-profile, railed gas block.
CMMG M4 LE Semi-Automatic Rifle 5 5 1 1
CMMG M4's and parts are solid. I have built several M4/AR-15's with CMMG products and have been completely satisfied with them. My Colt LE6920 is and has been my benchmark for any M4 style rifle I try, buy, or build. The "optic ready" version that is available here is a great shooter. I don't personally own one in this configuration but I did get some trigger time with one this summer and found it to be a great rifle. The 1 in 9" twist is perfectly fine for all of the cheap 55gr. M193 and 62gr. SS109/M855 loads that most buyers will be sending downrange. I have 5.56 carbines in 7, 8, and 9" twists and for any indoor shooting or 200 yard and less outdoor shooting there really isn't enough difference for the average shooter to concern themselves with. If you want a fun carbine to outfit with your favorite EOTech, Aimpoint, or Trijicon then the CMMG M4 LE is a solid choice. November 22, 2013
