Magazine is a good buy This item is identical to the 25 round magazines CMMG includes with its 25 Round conversion kits. I bought a Bravo conversion kit from CMMG that came with 1 25 round clip and ordered this clip from Bass Pro Shops. Today I can’t tell you which clip came with the kit and which one came from Bass Pro Shops. They both work great and are both the expected CMMG quality. This is a solution for those who bought a 10 round kit from an on line auction site that bans the sale Of hi-cap magazines and actively cancels auctions that offer these items. Get your ten round kit from the auction site and get your 25 round mag from Bass Pro Shops. Bass Pro Shops shipped ultra fast and very reasonable. Thom February 16, 2013
They work awesome! I have used many different types of ammo in these magazines with no problem what-so-ever! They are well made, always feed well, regardless of the ammo and are reliable as can be! If I had to nit-pick, it would be loading them, its just kind of annoying holding onto the large mag loading small cartridges. These used to make shooting the Ar's inexpensive, but thanks to a bunch of idiot politicians and intense hoarders ammo is scarce... Overall A++++ March 22, 2013
Best AR conversion kit-magazine The CMMG line of 22 conversion kits and magazines are the best out there. The mags are easy to load, cycle perfectly and are easy to clean. These are the only truly universal kits and magazines I have ever used that are truly universal with any mil spec receiver. The other knock off brands like Chippawa are a tot waste of money and time. If you want the best then buy CMMG. February 14, 2013
22adatter I bought my ar15bushmaster and thought 22s would b a lot cheaper to kill pepsi cans so I bought my 22 adapter an it works like the 223 .it is as a accurate as the223 I love can't believe how good it works now I'm waiting on something that will make loading the magizines easy. I am sorry but the manufacturer has never tested it so they would not be able to say a definite yes. Your conversion kit is quite a bit different from theirs so they would be concerned that it would not work but again we cannot say for sure. Thanks

A:
Follower holds bolt open on last round, but bolt will close when you remove the mag.

If you're using the additional CMMG Bolt Hold Open Adapter, these will not trigger that, have to use the CMMG Evolution mag or older CMMG standard mag that look like these but have a different follower.

Short answer - Yes.

Long answer - The follower for these mags are extra long and will hold the bolt back after the last round. However unless you have the bold hold adapter for conversion kit, when you drop the empty mag the bolt closes and once a new mag is inserted you will have to use the charge handle to chamber the first round from the new mag.
