Rated 5 out of 5 by 22 mag hp 22mag HP ammo is explosive. Drinking bottles full of water disintergrate as though a M-80 was ininside. Flesh is 90%~ water, expect results. Full expansion occurs within about one inch. As a farmer I must dispach wounded/aggressive dogs. 1 rd to the heart lung area yields no crying, just an instant drop. 22-LR ammo to the head lets the animal cry for 2-5min upsetting kids & the wife. This is how the avg Joe does it, horrific. A 22mag HP in my Marlin is deadly at a minimum of 125yds. Humane and quick. My fav cat got feline aids. Could not catch her, unable to eat she was starving. 1 round from the 2nd story window emptied the cranium and did Not Exit through to the concrete sidewalk. Thats explosive. For animals less than 200#, at close range(50yd) this stuff is awesome. Not leagal for some hunting, but fully capable IMHO. February 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great stuff i have shot aleast 800 of these throught my berretta neos, love these rounds, only 1 jam ever out of 800, fires clean, does not maske a big mess of the gun like other rounds i have fired through it January 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Ammo Its CCI, that's all you need to know. CCI is the best for .22 ammo. I have put thousands of rounds thru my .22 with never having a jam. You can never go wrong with CCI. January 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incorrect product description The .22 LR 36 gr HP product description shows a muzzle velocity of 1640 fps. That should be 1260 fps as can be seen on the photo BPS uses for this ammo. The only .22 LR ammo that CCI makes that is 1640 fps is the Stinger 32 gr HP which BPS doesn't even sell. The Mini-Mag that BPS is selling is still an excellent round. December 19, 2012
