CCI® Standard Primers
Best primes around
CCI Primers are my #1 primer for most of my hand loading. They are very consistent and seem to fit a tad more snug that the other brands.
I have had trouble with other brands of primers falling out or coming loose after a case has been reloaded 5-6 times. With CCI's, I have never had that trouble. These were recommended by several top shooters in the USPSA leagues I shoot.
On a hardness level, these primers around about #4 with #1 being the hardest. I have used them with AR style weapons that can punch holes in primers and soft striking competition handguns.
Of all my years of loading, I have never had a miss fire using CCI's that was linked to the primer. When the trophy is on the line, or a match can be turned around with a miss fire, I cant afford junk primers. CCI is it for me.
I didn't see the Bench Rest primers listed to do a review on, but I wanted to give them notice too. They have all the same features as I listed above with one added. They are the cleanest burning primer I have ever used. When using the BR primers, I don't have to clean my primer pockets near as often as with regular primers. Saving time on loading is always a plus.

hard to find primers in gun shops
I have tested several brands of primers over the past 36 years of handloading. CCI Standard and Bench Rest primers are the best that I have ever used. I still test all brands, but CCI still deliver the best groups no matter what caliber I'm testing. I don't reload large volumes of any caliber. Never more than 100 rounds at a time. Between newer bullets and powder being released to the public on a regular timeline it's just not practicable for me. I've pulled bullets to change loadings. The bullets are marked buy the clamping action and therefor not as accurate as before. Since my normal gun shop hasn't had CCI primers for two years, I was willing to pay the hazard fee to have them on my bench. Thank you Bass Pro Shops.

Great primers for big rifles
I have purchased these primers (CCI #200) and use them for reloading my 308, 270, 3006 just to name a few. I have never had a miss fire with these primers. I have reloaded for several years and used these primers the whole time. They are easy to prime in my rifle primers and burn clean and are easily replaced when I reload my brass. I would recommend these primers to any one wanting to reload large rifle brass.

The ONLY primer I'll use.
I have been reloading for 40 years and have used CCI primers exclusively for all that time. I was taught to reload using CCI and know countless other who will only use these in their loads as well. I trust them totally in all my hunting, target and self-defense needs. I have never had a misfire, failure-to-fire, or any other malady occur with tens of thousands of rounds sent downrange. Do yourself a favor and stock up with the best there is, CCI.
