CCI Muzzleloader Percussion Caps
The regular caps are not the hottest burning caps. They are the worst caps you can buy. They will ignite Real Blackpowder but they will not work well with replica powders. The Magnum caps are alot better. They burn hotter and will ignite replica powders alot better. I would recomend the Magnums to a friend but not the regular caps. Buy the Magnums!!!

Properly Fit Caps
I've used the pricier Remington caps for several decades, just because they were always available & recently decided to try the less expensive CCI caps. This is an excellent example of how cheaper is better. Remington caps have a ragged open edge, often causing cap OAL to vary enough to hang up in certain straight-line cappers. The CCI are nicely finished and of more uniform length.
They make my BP firearms go bang every time, whether using actual black powder, Pyrodex, or even American Pioneer powder.

Best money i've spent!!!!
I recently purchassed two plack powder percussion revolvers ( F.LLI Pietta, Made in Italy ). A1851 Navy and 1858 New Army. I'm very pleased in the workmanship and old school look these revolers have,in fact they are more accurate than any of the modern semi-autos pistols i.ve shot. I've been shooting since i was 8 years old,so i've shot alot of guns.My next gun from here will be the 1858 New Army stainless steel target revolver, very nice, cant wait!!!!!

Best I have used
I got the caps in and took them out to try them out. That was the best cap that I have ever got. they fired every time no miss fires. I would buy them again. The bass Pro Shop shipped them fast to. The best is the CCI muzzleloader percussion caps # 11. That works well with in-line gun....EXCELLENT CAPS
