For an item that should have been relatively easy to install, I was sorely mistaken. The nuts and bolts are NOT threaded properly and, therefore, would NOT easily go together. The nuts would barely start threading on the bolts and, then, I had to use an extended-length socket to thread the bolts the entire length of the bolts and, eventually tighten the nuts. The design of the cross-over bolt attachment made installation somewhat challenging for one person to ensure the carrier was straight, level and properly positioned. Fortunately, this item DID accommodate my 175-80-D13 tire.

Not until the carrier was delivered did I discover it will not adapt to fit all wheels. It's on the manufacturer's box but not on-line ! If you have 5 inch bolt circle, 15 inch wheels, which are not unusual, this mount will not work and BP should describe that in their on-line product description. Now I am faced with taking it to a machine shop and having the lower mounting hole for the lug bolt milled out to make it longer and keep the square edges.
