I love it. Cooks great turkey, turkey breast and chicken wings. Love it. Way less mess than a small fryer with more capacity.

My wife bought this fryer for me just before Thanksgiving knowing how much I loved to fry turkeys. I normally use my propane turkey fryer but I was looking forward to using the Masterbuilt Electric Turkey Fryer because I wouldn't have to worry about being out in the elements. Well to make a long story short...the fryer allowed me to cook my friend's turkey breast before it cut off on me. It off when I tried to cook a whole turkey. I tried the reset button and that didn't work. I waited for almost 20 minutes and then I was able to turn it back on...until it went off again 5 minutes later. I had a house full of people just waiting on me to finish the 2 turkeys I was supposed to have done. Very disappointing day to say the least. I just thought it may have been an isolated incidence so I tried frying some chicken wiings the next week and the same thing occurred. My wife took it back to the retailer.

This fryer made cooking a 12lb turkey very easy. Used a poultry rub and cajun buttery injection. Best Thanksgiving turkey every. Easy to operate and cleanup is not messy. I ordered the accessory kit to fry pork chops and steaks.

This product is totally awesome. It is a no brainer, easy to use and the turkey came out perfect and juicy. I cooked a 12lbs turkey in 49 minutes. The skin was crispy and the meat juicy. I have also done crab legs and crayfish in this cooker.

Every electrical device or component must be certified by the Canadian Standards Association (or recognized equivalent) before it can be sold in Canada. Implicit in this is that all wiring must be done with CSA-approved materials. They perform testing similar to the UL (a bit more stringent), except that CSA (or recognized equivalent) approval is required by law. Again, like the UL, if a fire was caused by non-CSA-approved equipment, your insurance company may not have to pay the claim.
