I bought this plug for my Xtrema 2 and although it slides inside the spring, it works when you have to have it.

The plug diameter is a 1/2 in. This is info neither Bass Pro or the manufacture indicates. It doesn't fit every shotgun! Other than that detail it is a good replacement.
