Butler Creek®'s Flip-Open Cover is completely weatherproof for the ultimate protection of your expensive optics. This cover keeps harmful debris from scratching and damaging your lenses. The reliable flip-open eyepiece cover features a red button opener. The objective (muzzle) cover features push tabs. With the push of a thumb, both of these covers spring up and out of the way. Sold separately.
Select your covers by measuring the outside diameter of the 2 scope bells (objective and eye piece). Using your measurements, reference the cover measurement listed in the chart below. Select the cover that is the closest to the measurement with .01 under size and .025 over the size range.
Not much to say except they fit my scopes well . They are very easy to size if you can read a tape measure . Protects scope and easy to flip and use in feild.

Covers are made of cheap plastic, and tear EASILY where they attach to the hinge mechanism. Covers stand straight up when open which obscures your view when trying to put your target in the scope. I am going with the aluminum flip covers from Leuopold to protect my expensive optics.

I have used Butler Creek lens covers now for 20 years and all of my rifles(more than a dozen) carry BC covers. They have been belly crawled through brush and dirt, snow storms, rain and pestilence. I don't know about the other reviews but I have never had an instance of failure. Besides if these covers are good enough for our armed forces they are definitly good enough for me. Keeps rain and dust out of the lens very well. As for the sound you put your hand over the cover so as not to make the "pop" sound. And the reason you have to buy each end separately is that all brands of scopes are not the same at each end. But I would like the see the covers at a cheaper price when buying two.

Break Real Easy
The caps fit are fair. They have a tendency to "creep" more onto the scope, at which point they won't close very well. At the point where they have the "flip," has very little material, and will break very easily. They have a tendency to open while you are still hunting. Thus when you go thru brush, they open easily and then break easily. It's really a shame they aren't made a little better. It would only take a little more material to fix the problem, but I guess Butler doesn't care, as long as people unknowingly buy them. By-the-way, you are required to buy at least 2 at a time. What's that all about? Attached Picture Isn't very good, but it gives you the idea.
