Rated 4 out of 5 by clintoncowboy good The best thing about this camera is the battery life. I have used this camera for 2 seasons and it has taken over 10,000 pics on the same set of batteries. You will need to use lithium batteries to get this result, but I would say they are well worth the extra money. The worst part of this camera is the night pics. The flash doesnt fill the whole screen. If the deer is not right in front of the camera it doesnt show up real well. For the price, I would have liked to have a faster shutter speed but it is a good camera. December 5, 2012

Only thing that made me give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that flash area is kinda tight and doesnt illuminate the sides quite as good as it should. Awesome videos with great sound. I have videos of deer where you can hear them walking, grunting, and even eating from 20+ft away. And the compact size is very nice. Battery life with lithium batteries is crazy long for a AA battery camera. February 25, 2012

Much smaller than I was expecting. this camera will fit in my jacket pocket. I get at least 30 pics a night with this camera where my moultrie would only get 30 a week. The flash doesn't seem to spook the deer and the trigger works with motion and heat, so I don't get pics that only have trees. All my pics have had wildlife in them, even on a stormy night. The only issue that I have is that the memory card can't be read unless the camera is directly plugged into my pc. Probably a bad card, the camera is great! January 26, 2012

What card reader will read this cameras videos?

Details:

I prefer to take 10 second videos. Is there a card reader that will read videos from this camera. My laptop read them but the one card reader I tried only reads the pictures. Trail camera reacords in FAT16 format, reader reads AVI format.

You might try the Moultrie® USB Multi Card Reader item number 38-884-800-00. The card readers allow you to easily move your images and videos from your cameras to your computer.

From what I can tell is that the bone collector is camo and the other one is not. I have the bone collector version and it is a very good camera. I would like the trigger speed to be a little faster, but that would be all I would change

According to Bushnell, "Optionally, you can connect an external 6V DC power source to the “DC In”
jack at the bottom of the Trophy Cam. It is recommended to use a power
source with a current output greater than 1000mA."
