Rated 5 out of 5 by Takes great pictures This is the second camera that i have owned. They take great pictures, are easy to set up, and are compact enough to use anywhere. The only issue that i had with the first camera, is after two seasons of use the wires corroded and disconnected. the wires seem to be too thin to last. November 21, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great camera Wow what a product! This camera has given me many months of great pictures unlike some of the other cameras I own that don't work half the time. Even after a bear decided he liked the camera as much as me and he decided to play with it on the tree, it still works perfectly. It has a bear claw mark across the sensor but it doesn't affect the quality of it. Also he broke the lens, but he pictures still look good. It is really quick to get the first movement. I even think I may have to delay my settings so that I can get the full animal. I will go and check my camera and it is so quick it will only get the tip of the nose as he enters the viewing area. Extremely quick! I am interested in trying out the HD version just to see it after using this great camera. September 24, 2012

I li ve in Massachusetts, can this camera stay outside all day and night no matter how cold it is,or what the weather is, and still take good video and still pics?Bushnell® Trophy Cam™ 8.0 Megapixel Digital Game Camera is the one I am talking about. Thanks

I don't know how it does in freezing tempatures but it does have a weather proof case and can be put out in the rain.

outdoor use and is resistant against water and snow. It operates between -20 - 60°C (-4 - 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and has a storage temperature of -30 - 70°C (-22 - 158 degrees Fahrenheit.)

I leave mine out in all kinds of weather and never had any problems with its performance. I'm really impressed with its battery life. Being out in the cold all winter long doesn't seem to drain the batteries.

If you are talking about the Bushnell M80, mine have been perfectly waterproof in some heavy rainstorms, and functioned well at 18 degrees F.

It's a standard USB to mini-USB cable available anywhere. You might even have one laying around from another piece of gear like a digital camera or cell phone.
