Using Advanced Digital Technology, it emits an invisible, eye-safe infrared energy pulse; distances are displayed in-view while you are viewing the target. You can choose from two built-in Selected Targeting Modes: Rain Mode permits distance measurements in inclement weather, and Reflector Mode enhances the maximum distance to special reflectors (targets) with an internal electronic readout. Each model features ±1 yard accuracy, quiet operation, and automatic shut-off for longer battery life. All units are water- and shock-resistant.
