I bought the security box about two months ago have used it ever since there are several bears where i hunt they have tried too tear the camera off the tree several times without success only draw back is the lid is kind of hard to close when box is tightly fastened to the tree

the security box is a pain, the top panel is cheaply made, the box below is givving me fits with the slightly protruding screws keeping me from easily sliding the camera in and out. I have to fight to get the camera in an out past a drywall screw that i didnt get all the way flush as the holes were made to low, not having a 6 inch long bit either. I have another sec urity box from dffernt MFGR that the entire fron panel lifts up and out and it is better made and much easyier to use.and padlocks at the bottom, the inside is to small or screw holes not recessed and interfeer with camera install.

A must for the Bushnell camera.
This product works well for securing the camera. The box can stay strapped to the tree and the camera removed. If you use a cable lock, such as the Master Python, you have to remove the cable before removing the camera from the box. In my opinion, if you buy a Bushnell trail camera, you need this box, as the camera doesn't seem to be very rugged and could easily be broken. The box does seem a little pricey, but I guess it's good insurance.

The box is well made and pretty secure. Best feature is how well the cam fits in the box. The straps that the cam comes with are garbage, especially if you have little mesquites like we do in TX. I quickcreted up a 4x4 and lag bolted this guy on in no time. Perfect for walking up and getting the SD card out of the cam every morning I hunt and checking the pics on my phone. It just slips in and out. If you are worried about security, grab another lock while you are at it, the one that comes with it is pretty puny. Dont get the camera without this box.
