Bushnell Scouting Camera Security Boxes
We bought this security box to keep bears from stealing and tearing up our cameras. They are decent boxes but if you bolt them to a tree with a heavy lagbolt and washer, which to me is best way, the camera wont slide down into case. So we ended up having to use regular wood screws to make it work, which isn't very strong. Also, word of advice would be to use washers between security box and tree to create enough space for lid to slide on easily.

A must for the Bushnell camera.
This product works well for securing the camera. The box can stay strapped to the tree and the camera removed. If you use a cable lock, such as the Master Python, you have to remove the cable before removing the camera from the box. In my opinion, if you buy a Bushnell trail camera, you need this box, as the camera doesn't seem to be very rugged and could easily be broken. The box does seem a little pricey, but I guess it's good insurance.

I've been using the security box for the last year. I have it mounted to a tree with 4" screws. It's nice to know that no one can steal my camera or SD card without destroying the box first. The only down side I have found was that you can not flush mount the box to anything and still close the lid. I fixed that by bending out the mounting holes I was going to use. I am planning on getting another one for my other hunting spot.

Works great! Definatley worth having!
Last year I had my camera stolen from my property. Unfortunately I had to go out and purchase another. I bought this lock box to ensure my camera would be safe and it has been! Secures to the tree pretty easily and still get those amazing pictures. Also has holes to put a cable through to throw another lock around the tree like I did. Overall I am happy with my purchase!
