Binoculars are top notch! Compared to Nikon Monarch and found the clarity to be a bit better. On top of that you get a quality case and a shoulder harness which don't come with many of the other brands.

I am amazed with the brightness and clearity of these binoculars. They blow away the compitition in light contrast and detail. They are very powerful, yet small and lightwieght and for a fraction of the price of other brands! The best in its class for a wide field of view and color brightness. Make a upgrade to HD and see what you have been missing.

I personally have had both and YES it definately is worth the difference. You get an extra 10-15 mins, and even if you don't get a shot on the deer you see just before nightfall you still can see him, and thats what makes you come back, so if you sit til dark you may as well glass til dark!!A:Â
Yes, good optics make for a more enjoyable hunt, always get the best you can affordA:Â
There is a difference the larger the second number the more light will be allowed in over a further distance. Since they are both ten power the biggest difference will bill the further away you are trying to see. If you are using them for closer distances you could probably get by with the 10X36 if you are going to go out further to 100 to 200 yards and beyond i would consider splurging and getting the 10x42 your field of view will increase quite a bit as well.1 of 1
