I bought this unit to take hunting and I was very disappointed. The ergonomics are awful big and bulky and very hard to hold and not accidentally change the settings on the objective and diopter lens which are very sensitive to the slightest changes, slightly turn either and you will be looking at snow. The secondary infrared illuminator cannot be focused to go from spot to flood so when you use it there is basicly one bright spot at the top of the picture. To get a decent picture takes a lot of very fine tuning with both the objective and the diopter then if you try to scan and the object changes range back to square one with the adjustments. Don't think for one second that you are going to get a quick look at any game by the time you make adjustments it will be to late.

I used this pair of monoculars for a couple of days. Thanks to the helpful staff in Harrisburg,P.A,they helped me to decide which pair was best for me.It has great features on it like the infarred,an also liked how you can hook the device up in your car with some simple wires that must be bought on your own.the only down side is that the batteries go alot faster then the expected 9 hours it said in the manual. I was able to see with good reconishin of an object within 25yds to 30yds,beyond that it is just figures you see .You can still make out whats out there ,just not as clear. For the price I would tell all to buy one.
