This semi-auto tactical rifle features a distinctive military barrel profile and six position telescoping buttstock that quickly adjusts to fit a wide range of shooters' bodies. Bushmaster's A3 Type Patrolman's Carbines are modeled after the shorter M4 type carbines, but have the additional barrel length. The 5.56mm/.223 Rem. caliber barrel is chrome lined. This rifle has a single-stage trigger, a safe and a fire selector switch, and a birdcage type muzzle suppressor. Features a manganese phosphate outer coating to insure protection against corrosion or rust. The rifle has a removable carry handle with adjustable rear sight. Includes a 30-round magazine and carrying sling. 6 position adjustable stock.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rivals my Best Colt The Bushmaster M4 rivals my best Colt 6721 for accuracy and reliability. I purchased this M4 to save the Colt as my collector AR. Even in the M4 capacity, I am shooting 3 inch groups offhand at 150 yards with XM 193 ammo. I now have 3400 rounds through it with no failures and routine maintenance. I would never hesitate to buy this rifle and I will buy another one for our fall camp as a protection rifle. It should be mentioned, I have done nothing to this rifle except a 3 stage cleaning after each use. It is as tight as the day I removed it from the box. I have no reason to fire my Colt 6721 again. Thanks Bushmaster for a reliable and tight rifle. September 30, 2013

A:
1 in 9 and that's a great thing with heavier ammo. The 1 in 7 will provide a more accurate barrel but limits your ammo choices...
