Great for 3 gun I got this scope because I was looking for a 1-4x scope for 3 gun and this fit in my budget. The glass is really clear and the reticle is very useful. I hit a 500 yd target at a match the week after getting the scope. I do wish it came with a scope cover though. It is also quite difficult to switch power settings. I recommend getting an MGM Switchview lever if you plan on using this scope for 3 gun. August 14, 2013
Wait and see I just received the tac 30 scope and my first impression was that its a solid well made scope. However after installing the battery and running it through its settings I noticed a problem. When I turned it on the second time it went back to its last setting like it should, but then it would turn off and back on every 3 seconds. I ran to the store to get a fresh battery thinking that the one that came with it might be the source of the problem. No such luck. So now I'm returning the scope and getting a replacement. The reps at bass pro were very helpful and we'll see how the replacement one works. 3 stars for now until I give it a real run through. January 24, 2013
