Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Sight I purchased this for my Colt AR to use on a 45-degree. I did it by attaching to my Magpul handguard with just a standard 7 slot rail. It is a little unorthodox but I wanted to keep my iron sights and put a M-223 scope with quick detach mount so I will have 3 sight options. It turned out great as the mount is just high enough when the gun is cantered to the 45 degree. The dot on this sight is a bit blurred and overimposed on high power but on low and medium is a fine dot that is easy to pick up for quick aquisition shots which is what I wanted it for. I think it would also work well as a primary sight for rifle or pistol. June 21, 2013
