very solid piece reviewed several different red dot scopes in several different price points. I ended up buying the Burris AR-332, and so far, no regrets, no change of facial expression on Christmas morning ~ this thing is built like a tank, and is a very manly addition to my Ruger SR-556. So far, only bore sighted, tomorrow, she goes into the field. I think 3x power was the perfect choice, great in CQ and clear as day at well over 200 yrds. the Illuminated Reticle could be just a hair larger, but I got use to it pretty darn fast. ~ hey guys, the catalog and internet pictures do her no justice at all, try to get one in your hands! Love this optic! I bought this optic with referral from a good friend. His description of Burris optics is spot on! Clear, easy to operate, and best warranty in the industry! Plan on purchasing Burris in the future! January 13, 2015
First AR scope Received the AR 332 as a gift, after looking it over at a local gun shop. It was mounted on an S&W M&P 15. A 3/4" riser was used to utilize the hole in the mount for magpul iron sights. The red or green dot is great for fast and close target acquisition. I like how the scope has a black dot as well, when battery is low or just don't need the red or green lighted reticle. Only problem was not checking the scope to mount screws, used loctite on screws while sighting in the scope. October 8, 2014
Great Product! I needed a new optic for my Tavor and when shopping around came across the Burris AR332. So glad I purchased it. The larger ring functions great for close plinking with it while the 3X magnification allows me to hit targets out to greater distances. Very pleased with the drop reticle system. I have hit targets out at 500 yes. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable well priced optic for their gun. October 8, 2014

I'm wondering if the front sight (A frame on an AR-15 style upper) will obscure the sight picture of this optic?

Answer this Question

You must raise the optic 7 mm so that the front sight will not obscure the optical. You can do this by purchasing an optical with the raised stand included, or purchase the riser separately.
