Bucktail Tying Material
These large Bucktails measure up to 12'' in length, leaving tiers with plenty of long fibers to work with. Bucktail is very versatile and can be used for winging on streamers and dry patterns, but is also a popular choice for tying striper, walleye and bass jigs. An extra process leaves our Bucktails very clean of dye and natural oils. These beautifully dyed Bucktails are dyed down to the roots and our large selection of colors makes it easy for you to match the hatch.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Skewl Some Nice Bucktails
These bucktails have excellent color, they make a lot of flies and jigs and they are pretty big for the most part. The pictures are accurate colorwise. Only thing that isn't great is that the white tails are not as big as the other colors. Still great to tie with though, highly recommended.

I bought these because I was in a bind and needed them now ( took to many orders). VERY inconsistent size. Out of the 9 I bought I would only consider at most 20% to be large. The white are a joke small and anemic. I think the deer they came off of are bald. If you are just a hobbyist these will work fine for you. Colors are consistent but size is not.

I do not believe they are available. You will find white deer tail hairs on the Natural tail, which is what you see on the rear of a deer: brown and white hair.Top 1000 Contributor
