I like the Spot Remover's "post" method of attaching plastics to the jig. I find it very difficult to get plastics onto the corkscrew style shaky jigs without the cork popping out one side of the bait. The post does a good job holding the plastic in place.
Hooks are very sticky. Spot Remover Jigs are a little pricey, but they are high quality jigs.

Went to a local creek to try to catch some smallmouth bass. I knew nothing about this creek. Had never fished it before. I went through different combinations of craws and tubes. I've caught smallies with this stuff before, so I figured why not? I then remembered I had some spot remover jigheads and thought it might work. I tipped it with a Zoom Grass Craw. It worked. I did not have any problems with it getting hung up in the rocks. I Liked the way the bait stuck up, making it look like a burrowing crawfish. The lure stayed on the jighead at all times. Give it a try.

These jigheads are absolutely awesome. My personal biggest bass (7.5 lbs) came while fishing on Lake Hartwell, GA using a Spot Remover rigged with a 4" finesse worm. When rigged correctly, the action of the work standing up on it's 'head' and dancing across the bottom is usually unbearable for bass. Bass are usually all over it. You can also fish creature style baits on the Spot Remover. You do have to be careful fishing rip rap and rocks. These tend to get hung in piled rocks pretty easily and they are kinda pricey so losing one 'hurts'. That's pretty much the ONLY downfall I've seen with these. The quality control on these seems to be top notch. I've never gotten a 'bad batch' of Spot Removers. They catch fish.....plain and simple.
