Shaky Head I do like the Spot Remover but I don't care for this worm lock. It is good in that it is quick so it makes rigging easy but I think it rips up the worm too much and I also feel like it slips off when I am fishing in any kind of rock and brush. I like the screw lock a little better even if it takes a little longer to rig. December 28, 2011
Great Surprise Lure I tried both models of the Spot Remover jigheads and have been pleasantly surprised by the number of fish I have caught on each model. They are easy to rig and work great with Zoom Trick Worms. I have used them successfully on points with rocks and stumps, along riprap and in brush piles and downed trees. Sometimes the Trick worm slides off the keeper, but generally, I have already caught a fish or two before this occurs to me. After that, I am ready to put a new worm on anyway. Possibly a spot of glue at the worm head/keeper may prevent this from happening. They are a bit pricey at $1.00 per jig head, but when you can catch as many fish as I have with these jigs, who cares! Go to bait. There are many similar type Jig-heads on the market but I can't seem to get them to work as well as the Spot Remover. I pair the Spot Remover with a Trick worm or a Senko type worm. This combination is my go to bait and is an excellent search bait. The only complaint that I have with the Spot Remover is the hooks are thin wire and have a tendency to straighten out. The heavier models need to use a heavy wire/ super-line hook. June 17, 2011
Best shakey head set up I have used these jigheads for years. They are very had to find in my area. Excelent for faness fishing early in the spring. Works well for finding that kicker fish. a little pricie for the numbers. May 3, 2011
