Enters the water real quiet because of the design. Has good action in colder water.

I never liked fishing a jig. one day a fellow fisherman gave me a homemade mop jig. i caught 9 that day. i went to basspro and bought several of the mop jigs and have been hooked ever since. i have caught more 4 to 8 lb fish in the last 3 years than i caught in all my previous years of fishing. a little patience is required in heavy cover, but they will come get it.

I works great with a gary yamamoto Flapper hog. I got a 10 pounds and a 2 goes to show small and big will bite. heavy weeds will give you a hard time.

A great slow falling jig. I can't remember a time where I didn't have this tied on a rod in the boat. Flip or cast, it is by far my favorite jig 24-7. Very durable and the hook is fairly stout. I would like a hook maybe 1 size bigger however on it.
