this knife is almost to pretty to get bloody... almost. The gut-hook works well, but needs to be sharpened after a few deer. I have several knives but this is always the one I go to first.

I recently received the Buck Zipper Knife with the rosewood handle as a Christmas gift. I own two Buck knives that are now almost 35 years old, and this new Buck knife proves that the quality is still present in these new designs. The handle fits like a glove in my palm and the blade is sharp as can be right out of the box. I hope to have a chance to use the well designed gut hook on a fine whitetail next season.

I've heard that knives with a full tang (the blade runs through the entire handle) are more durable and less likely to break. I was just wondering if the buck zipper had a full tang.Answers
A:
yes a full tang is what a fixed blade buck knife is. It's one piece of metal from point to back end of the handle.A:
No full tang. If you can break this knife during regular use you are a gorilla! I have a couple of these and love em but for everyday use I prefer the Alpha Gut Hook by "Buck"1 of 1
