I purchased this for my dad for Christmas, and I was very happy, as was he, about the edge on it straight out of the box. This is a nice, versatile knife that is good as a basic pocket knife. Nothing flashy or fancy, just an old school instrument.

this is one of my favorite knives. it is now three years old and is still like new. ive filleted multiple fish with this knife and still dont have to sharpen it. also this has no rust on it because it has had many saltwater baths. this is always in my pocket!!!
