I receieved this knife and was suprised at how small it was, i failed to read the size dimensions. I opened it up and it was extremely sharp and it works great as a pocket knife. It's not heavy so you don't even feel it in your pocket. It was a good buy for the size

Not sure if its assembled in America or not but the blade has CHINA stamped on it so I would bet that the answer to that is "No".
