My two sons gave me this knife for fathers day yesterday, and I can hardly wait for Deer season to open so that I can use it. It fits well in my hand and its a full tang. Great knife.

This knife is awesome! Fits great in the hand and is super sharp right out the box. I was very impressed and it looks just as sharp as the blade is! It's a perfect cleaning knife for hunting anything from small game to moose or elk. I'd buy it again if i had to.

THIS KNIFE IS BUILT REALLY WELL, AND THE GUTHOOK CAN STRIP THROUGH DEER HIDE LIKE IT IS BUTTER. IT MAINTAINS IT SHARPNESS VERY WELL, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT FAILING YOU WHEN YOU NEED IT.

hi phy any good diamond flat stone will work fine hold the nife at a 45 degree angle and go to work use a stone oil its better for the bladeA:Â
Learn to use a steel to fix your edge.I just used my omni hunter to gut and skin two wild hogs. After I was done the edge needed attention for sure. I ran it across my steel and fixed the edge back to razor sharp condition with out gringing. Great knife , take care of it.A:Â
The Buck Website says to use a diamond wet stone to sharpen all buck knives and to not use a electric grinder because that will kill the warranty. It also says to have about one blade width of space between the knife and the stone when sharpening.1 of 1
