I have used Buck Jam three times in the last four years. The first year we put it on a pile of apples then went in for lunch. Came back an hour later and the pile was gone, apples and all.
The last two times I've put it out on top of corn and within 48 hours the whole pile is gone in the woods. I know deer love this stuff, but other animals also enjoy it. Including turkey which I've seen come down and eat it from my stand.

Buck Jam is very good. I got a new trail camera that day and wanted someone to help me find something that would make the deer hold in the same spot so Icould get pics. On the bottle it says to pour over stumps or the ground, I just found a log and dumped half of it out and the other half on the ground. If you are going to clear your spot on the ground, make sure that it is as clear as you can get it or they will not find it. I use the apple flavor.

This product is my top two products to used with the deer cane I mix both products it was amazing even use that stuff all by itself wow amazing results. But use the scrape dripper it works very well plus you don't need to come back and redo it again.

how much do i pour out and can i just pour it on the ground.Answers
A:
Pour the whole jug out. What I like to do Is pour one out on the ground and let it soak in then I'll pour corn on on top and then pour like half another one on the corn and mix. It helps the deer find and start to eat it other wise it may take them away to start hitting itA:
Pour directly on the ground...Unlike other mineral supplements, Buck Jam attracts instantly once it gets out of the bottle. So all you need to do is pick your area, clear away debris and pour it out. Some of the minerals will begin slowly soaking into the soil to continue to attract deer back over a longer period of time.
Pour over decaying stumps, logs or other decaying matter...
Buck Jam will very slowly begin to soak into the decaying wood it is poured on. Once saturated with the minerals and flavors, the decaying wood becomes a target of deer and other wildlife seeking sweet minerals in the woods.
Mix with grains or pour over feeds...
Many times quality feeds go untouched by wildlife because they are unusual to the deer in the area. You can enhance your feed and jump start usage by introducing a flavor that they cannot resist. You can also allow the Buck Jam to dry onto grain before putting it out and then broadcast the grain over a 20’ x 20’ area to make them take their time eating it. (Use 1 qt per 25 lbs of grain.)
Always locate your mineral sites at least 10 feet off of heavily traveled deer trails.

Hard to tell. I can tell you that it works great by itself. I just pour on the ground and some rotten logs/limbs. Look at the pic's...you can tell where I poured it. I had 0 pic's before using it.Images for this Answer
