I gave this duck call as a gift to my husband. I wanted to get another brand, but they were out of stock. I bought this call, and he loved it! He says it has great range. Now I just have to listen to him calling while I'm trying to watch TV.

Excellent call for the price! I haven't tested it in the field yet but out of the box it sounds very good! And for that price you can't go wrong.

Finally, a great peice of duck hunting equipment for less than $100. Well made, heavy bodied acrylic, with no burrs. Its very responsive and has a realistic, raspy tone that doesn't crack or squeak. It is a loud call, great for hailing fights and calling to working birds. Difficult to make softer calls, but that could be my technique. This is a great call for all skill levels. The picture shows a brass collar. Mine was an uber shiney nickel, which was quickly covered with camo tape.
