Very Sharp and it stays sharp
I bought one of these Buck knive and used it during deer season. It holds it edge. I have not sharpened it yet. It had four deer field dressed with it and it still cuts nice and smooth. Also used it for fishing as well. Gutted over 2 dozen fish with it. Very Nice and Cheap.

Aother great Buck product!
I have been hunting and fishing for over 43 years, and this is the best made knife that I have ever had in my hand. The red wood handle and brass hardware add to the quality of the blade, and it is "shaving sharp" right out of the box. I bought the 6 " version to have a multi-purpose version. At any rate, this is a top quality hunting/fishing/camping knife that anyone would be proud of !

I have been carrying this knife since 1963, to include several combat tours in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. I still use this knife for all my outdoor needs. The only problem is that the Sheath usually wears out in about 15 years. Wouldn't trade it for any other knife!
