Great knife from a company thats been around since the early 1900's.Very versatile knife that i use for skinning and deboneing deer, also very good in the kitchen.Comes straight out of the box and holds a edge very well,,,,easy to sharpen. The leather sheath it comes with is top quality and is a great match with this knife.Highly recommended very versatile knife!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by JaNew THE BEST KNIFE I'VE EVER OWNED!!!
I've tried a lot of different knives over the years and was never satisfied until now. This knife has the perfect balance. For field dressing deer the blade length is perfect for the pelvic and the blade with is also not too wide for this.
Knife is a true work of art, almost too nice to drag through the woods though you bet I am. Very sharp and high quality blade edge and high quality sheath are just a couple more pros. You won't be disappointed with this knife, and my first deer I field dressed wtih this knife was a good one.

Is the pin mark in the handle as obvious as the picture shows it? (in the upper right on the brass portion of the butt of the handle) thanksAnswers
A:Â
Not on the one I bought. It's practically invisible. I actually had to look very closely at mine to see any pin mark at all.A:Â
no, the pin that it shows in the picture lays down into the handle. I just pushed mine into the handle and im shaking it up and down right now, the pin stayed in the handle so its nice and tight not lose. i have to stick my finger in there and pull it out with my fingernail to get the pin out.1 of 1
