I have had one of these knives for a while and carrie it a lot. I really want to like it but it does have a huge design flaw. The cutting edge on the blade actually rests on metal at the end of the handle and it dulls the knife badly. I have to sharpen mine at least once a month and my knife has the better blade in it......

I have owned Alpha Hunter knifes for years. They have replaced my older Bucks... I carry the Alpha Hunter on both Elk and Deer hunting trips. I recently had to replace one that I gave to a good friend. Then I decided to buy another just in case... The edge holds up well and the knife cleans up easily with the open back design. It's the only hunting knife you need.

It has a belt sheath but will fit into pockets. It is larger than most knives that you would normally carry in you pocket.A:
Yes. It is best worn on your belt. The case design allows you to affix to your belt vertically or horizontally. Mounted in the horizontal position the black case minimizes visibility.Top 500 Contributor
