Very good knife. Used it to gut deer and cut up squirles, worked great for both. Zipper opens deer right up and rubber handle gives a great grip. If I lost it or for some reason needed a new knife would deffinetly buy another one.

I have purchased several knives different styles and brands. I like Buck because it's what I carried in the Gulf War. I harvest 4-5 deer every year and I was having a problem keeping the blade sharp. All the knives were also slipping out of my hand. I have had my Alpha Buck for two years now and I have not had to sharpen the blade yet. It's also the most comfortable knife I've ever used. I bought 5 more of these knives and gave one to my Dad and the rest to friends.
