Yes, I am a knife enthusiast. I look for and appreciate things like aesthetics, ergonomics, quality and perceived durability. The Alpha Hunter has all of these and its a Buck to boot. Since I got it after season I have not put it to practical use but plan to in only a few short months. Factory edge is excellent and the angle of hone will be easy to match when it gets dull. Highly recommend.

I love this knife. It is a very high quality knife, it will probably last a lifetime. It locks up great, one down side is that the linar lock is very thin. I personally have never had it fail on me, but it looks thin enough to where I wouldnt trust it too far. It goes a little over halfway through the tang tho so i could be wrong. I have the wood version of this knife and i just thing its beautiful. I also think that it is very solid, and holds up very well. Its a very heavy knife. It feels like Im carrying a small handgun in my pocket its so big. Overall. great knife. I really like it.

I have owned both the wood and rubber handled Alpha Hunter knifes and don't have a negative thing to say about them. I lost my rubber one hunting in the mud and just placed an order for a new one, becasue i can't stand having anything else in my pocket. My wood one has the skinning hook and isn't as practical for every day use. None the less, if your considering this knife, BUY IT! Best knife i have ever owned.
