Can it get any better than the Bubba Nymph? The answer is, ''NO.'' The deadly Bubba Spider sheds the silicone legs, and puts on a partridge hackle to go heels on trout! The proof is in the pictures. The specially designed arrowhead jighead provides a unique movement in current, but we'd be lying if we told you that's what makes it so deadly. It's a mystery, plain and simple, and we really don't care why, because it's the next best thing to a stick of dynamite. Assortment includes a total of six Bubba Nymphs: two black, two olive and two tan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Fly Although this fly may not be for fly-fishing purists, I have had some amazing results with it. For example, the last time I fished it was on a small pond with big trout. First I tried a dry fly, then a couple of my go-to nymphs, including a deer's hair. Nothing, nada, zip. Then I put on the Bubba nymph and had three strikes in three casts, and landed one bright 17" rainbow. This fly and its cousin, the Bubba Spider, are two of my all-around favorites. May 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dynamite Dynamite might take more fish, but the Bubba comes close, and is much neatert. Seriously, a magically effective nymph under all sorts of conditions, it travels near the bottom without getting hung up -- except on fish. August 18, 2010
