I've had a number of these compasses and wouldn't be without one. In fact I'm ready to buy a few more as I lost my last one. For the price you can't go wrong. You can quickly get your bearing at a glance by pinning it in a location on your clothing. The only issue is they do get pullled off. The pin doesn't go far enough into the clip.

Bought two of these and one came with a huge bubble in it not sure I will use that one the other had small bubble but think it is still usable.

I purchased this less than 1 year ago and used it on a short trip keeping it clipped to the inside of my bag. It has never been touched and has been stored indoors the entire time after my trip. Just went to check my gear for an upcoming trip and it is almost completely dried out.
Bottom line… I won’t be buying another.

This is a good little compass if you need to get a general heading. I've put a little sharpie mark to aid in establishing direction. The only problem is that it can get pulled off of your shirt or pack if it gets hung up. Like the previous review, place it inside your jacket or shirt, and you'll have no problems. Great product that's easy to use.
