Browning X-Bolt Composite Stalker Rifle
Browning's greatest bolt rifle
I have a X Bolt composite in 308. This is a great gun. I have owned all sorts and brands of rifles over the years but I keep coming back to Browning. This will keep a three shot group in a 1 inch square using Winchester Power Max 150 grain ammo all day long. Power Max usually don't group well but this rifle has changed that.I have shoot two deer with it this year and love it. The gun feels good in my hands. The trigger is great. I love the 60 degree bolt throw. This really helps when you have a larger scope mounted. The x bolt scope mounts work great. Very strong. I have owned several A Bolts and I would take the X Bolt over the A Bolt any day.

I bought this rifle for a hog hunt in Texas. Well I'm very impressed with it. I have a vortex diamondbacks scope paired with it and caught 3 hogs at around 100 yrds. Easy on the hands and butt will not knock you out.

Browning X Bolt - Wow!
I bought the gun about two months ago for an Elk trip to Montana. Since then I have put about 120 rounds through it. This is a nice gun. The action is smooth and the trigger is one of the best I have ever experienced. I have it matched with a Nikon Monarch 3, 2.5X10X50 with the BDC. This seems like the perfect combination. I have the gun zeroed at 200 yrds and consistently hit the the bull's eye at 300 and 400 yards no mater which type of ammo I am shooting. I have not tried further out because I don't have a range than long. The butt plate pad is great, with very manageable recoil from a 7mm Mag. This is my first Browning, but it will not be my last. I love this gun and would highly recommend it.

.270 nail driver!
Got this riffle last year. I have dropped 2 8pt & 1 9pt Bucks along with a few does (South GA).
The trigger is smooth and very light that allows you to NEVER anticipate the pull and jerk off target.
I have it zeroed @ 100yrds with Nikon Prostaff 5 Scope. It will put the bullet on a .50 cent piece with every shoot in 3pt stand
Free hand (I admit I sway a bit but its still solid) and will put rounds on target with in 1 inch.
Safety is Switch is fairly quiet & the Bolt has very little wiggle
