The Browning X-Bolt Medallion .30-06 Spg Rifle ensures long range accuracy every shot with its totally free-floated barrel and Browning's adjustable Feather Trigger System. The bolt action X-Bolt Medallion also features a glass bedded, blued steel receiver that's drilled and tapped for a scope. This gun delivers a smooth and secure action with its 60º lift bolt action and reliable, smooth feeding from the detachable box 4+1 magazine. Pairing a 22'' blued steel barrel and fine gloss-finished, checkered walnut stock, the rifle also features a top-tang safety with bolt unlock button, Inflex technology recoil pad, and sling swivel studs.

Purchased this rifle yesterday got it home and mounted a Leupold rifleman scope with Leupold mounts. Took it to the range this morning and fired a box of Hornady BTSP 165 grain ammo through it. Very pleased with results, once I got it shooting where I wanted, I shot three, three shot groups and you could cover each one with a quarter.
Was a little worried about recoil from past experience with 30.06 guns. The recoil pad is wonderful and does an outstanding job.
This is also the first Browning rifle I have owned, typically shoot Remington 700 guns.
I can't wait to shoot this gun some more at the range and fall hunting season. If you decide to purchase one and it shoots as nice as the one I purchased I think you will be very pleased as well.
