Rated 3 out of 5 by Hunter0101 Good, but run way small
I like the pants, but agree with everyone else that they run too small. Usually wear a 34-35 waist, ordered a 36 waist and after washing/drying they were pretty tight.

I took mine back, I made the mistake of not trying them on. Without trying these on you will miss the waist size by 2 inches too small. Being cotton, they will shrink even more.

Seem to be well made but I had to go 2 sizes larger than normal. I always wear 36waist 34length so after trying them on I had to go all the way up to a 40 waist these fit me just like all my casual pants do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brentmeister Protection from a variety of hazards
I started wearing field pants about 15 years ago after being introduced to the product by a fellow quail hunter. These pants will offer protection from a variety of thorns, brush and burr hazards than can result in pesky skin lacerations and punctures. You can also heavily spray the bottom half of the pants with insect repellent to keep chiggars, ticks and spiders out of your pants. They also offer some level of protection against snake bites, although snake boots or snake leggings are reccommended for adequate snake protection.
These pants are constructed very well, from good materials. They are true to size but run a little short in length. They have a straight-leg cut and fit well over boots.
These pants are a must for upland bird hunting in Texas. They are also good for dove season and while scouting or working around the deer lease. They are also very good to use while riding the ATV. I wear them most any time I'm out in the high grass or brush!
