  • HTSC30 high-tensile carbon
  • Double helix construction
  • Pac Bay Hialoy Micro Guides
  • Minimalist reel seat
  • EVA split grips
Browning's Superlight Casting Rods are built with high-tensile strength HTSC30 carbon blanks and utilize new double helix construction that exponentially increases strength while reducing weight. Pac Bay Hialoy micro guides focus your line for longer, more efficient casts, and the minimalist reel seat increases hand-to-blank sensitivity while reducing weight even further.
Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by browning superlight rod Superlight is the right name for this rod it is just as light as the duckett micro rods. rod loads well and is sensitive I have the m/h and it has plenty of backbone. Can't go wrong with this rod it's also lighter than the carbonlite. April 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by medhvy very sensitive makes my line feel like piano wire. I do not know what htsc30 is, but wow! wish they made a left handed reel to go with it March 23, 2014

Browning Blank Question

Details:
What is the Modulus count in this blank? I have the last years HI-Powers not sure why they changed these rods? The old 85 million Hi-power was super light and extremely sensitive!

A:
There is no industry standard for modulus (or other names being used in the industry). HTSC is a proprietary rating system for Browning rods. HTSC30 is the highest rating at this time.
