I chose the safe from the on-line photos and could be happier. The layout and flexibility are outstanding.
WOuld recommend the sfae to anyone who is thinking about storing 25 + - rifles etc. Well worth the money!

The Browning premium safes are made in the USA. This includes the Silver series sold by BassPro. The Browning Value series safes (Bronze, Sporter, Select, Tactical) are imported from China for Browning.Q:

what type of insulation does it have and what is the door seal made of? is it also water proof?

According to the 2012 Browning catalog this safe has fiberboard(gypsum) insulation, the door seal is Palusol expanding type, and the safe is not water proof. None of the Browning safes are water proof and very few other manufacturers claim any water proofing at all.1 of 1
