Browning® Semi-Auto Grade I Rifle
Great for ambidextrous shooting
I bought this gun because of the bottom ejection feature, making it a gun that can be as comfortable for lefties as righties. It is now my favorite .22 rifle of the four I own and the two southpaws who have shot it love it also. The gun shoots straight and is consistent. It fits nicely against my shoulder.
This gun is a little pricey compared to some other popular .22s, but worth it for the quality and versatility.

Best Take Down SA-22LR
When I fist shot the Browning SA-.22LR rifle it felt natural and a perfect fit for me. It's the first gun I pick up to go to the target range, then my pistols, and other guns. What I'd like though is a "quick load" device for loading into the breech load function as the little ammo can be difficult to handle one-at-a-time. If anyone knows of a "quick load" device for this great rifle let me know. I attached a nice scope and sling carry strap ad I'd use this as a "go to" weapon as a Prepper.

One of the best .22 autos you can find
This rifle is, in my opinion, the best rifle one can own for rabbit hunting and other non-benchrest type shooting. There are no plastic parts; nothing but steel and walnut. It will last you your lifetime and some of your heirs.
For me, the pointability of this rifle is second to none. You look at a target, and the sights just naturally align with it. Moving targets are easier with this gun than any other rifle I've tried.
Don't worry about the cost. That will be the first thing you forget about this rifle. Sure, it's more expensive initially, but is worth every penny.
Also, buy it while you're young so you can get an entire lifetime of use out of it before passing it on.

Long time friend
I purchased one of these rifles in 1995 and it has proven itself meny times over these past years. I still take it out to the range and can put almost all the bullets in a 50 cent piece target at 50 yeards.
