Excellent product. So far the brightest headlamp i have found. I would rate it 5stars if it took aaa batteries
Note that the battery it does use is not a hard to find item

I've owned some good head ban headlights...but this light is the cream de cream of headlights.
Was gold prospecting up in the high desert in Southern California for 6 days this past week. This light was dependable, bright and very useful. It's the best $45.00 dollars you'll ever spend on a quality head ban light. Do yourself a favor and buy one. You can't go wrong and you'll be glad you did..

This thing is bright! I wish it was adjustable for depth and also width beams because it's pretty focused on a smaller pattern. It's great if your trying to see far in front of you but kind of hard to see a lot around a camp site when everything is 4-10 feet in front of you... granted that block that it does light up is very clear! The two alternate colors, blue and red are pretty handy to have. I just wish it didn't take the CR123A batteries since they're not always the easiest to find. If your looking for a bright headlamp to see things off in the distance, you can't go wrong. Just make sure to bring extra batteries just incase.
