Surprised how warm these pants are. Personally I do not suggest for temps below 30, they are not insulated, just fleece lined. Layering is important, as it's easy to overheat in warmer temps and be too cool in colder temps. Took a couple times out to get it right. I use Arctic Shield base layers with them most of the time. I have worn them in -0 weather while hiking, with the correct base layers they perform great. Just like the jacket, they are made to be on the move, but I do wear them in the tree stand ALOT, they are so comfortable.
VERY water resistant. After about 25 washes they need re-treated with Browning spray-on water repellent, but for REAL breathable clothing that is not lined with perforated PVC you cant beat it. I have hunted all day in the rain, not gotten wet. If you sit on wet ground they will absorb water, just gotta use your head.
They fit a little "high in the waist". This pant is made to ride around your bellybutton and I found that when walking they would creep down. I find that annoying. I actually bought a cheap pair of suspenders that clip to my belt, fixed the issue, just look like a dork when I wear them on the outside of my browning fleece hoody (dead deer tell no tales).
I am only 5'8", that could have something to do with it, wouldn't keep me from buying another pair.
Fabric starts out a little "shiny" when in the sun, but it dulls out after a wash or two. Pattern remains the best I've seen for MOBUI.
